Aasakthi — The Heart Behind The Whole Being Space

I'm Aasakthi, a Counselling Psychologist and certified Reiki Practitioner, and the heart behind The Whole Being Space.

I hold a Master's degree in Counselling Psychology and graduated from Sampurna Montfort College, Bangalore. My work is rooted in evidence-based psychotherapy, while also honouring the wisdom of somatic, energetic, and contemplative practices.

At The Whole Being Space, I follow an integrative approach where science and spirituality meet. I believe healing is not a one-size-fits-all process, nor is it about fixing what is "wrong." Instead, healing unfolds across multiple layers — emotional, cognitive, nervous system, and energetic — and at a pace that feels safe and respectful to each individual.

While talk therapy and understanding our inner world are important, I also deeply value the experiential aspect of healing. Regulation, safety, and change do not happen only through insight or intellectualising, but through felt experiences in the body. Practices like Reiki and meditation can gently support nervous system regulation, grounding, and self-connection alongside psychotherapy.

The Whole Being Space was created as a compassionate, non-judgemental environment where individuals can explore their inner world, build awareness, and reconnect with themselves — in ways that feel aligned, supported, and humane.
